ArtWorks
ArtWorks
provides comprehensive instruction in the arts
for both children and adults. Many ArtWorks
classes are designed to provide a sequential
curriculum, allowing a student to progress from
the most basic skills to a high level of
competency.
Other classes are offered that follow a
short-termed workshop format.
ArtWorks, PenWorks, and StageWorks classes meet
for as little as one day to as long as six
weekly sessions. Workshop fees are modest and a
limited number of scholarships are available for
students with need.
MusicWorks
MusicWorks is a wonderful program of
musical instruction for all ages. The program
integrates academic foundations of reading music
and position to all instruments both band and
orchestral. Experienced instructors provide both
individual and group instruction to nearly 200
students yearly. The enthusiastic faculty share
their passion and love for music with their
students.
PenWorks
PenWorks
is lead by Dr. Martin Kich of Wright State
University and is in cooperation with the
College Community Arts Council. The program
touches on fiction and non-fiction styles of
writing. Participants can take all or one
workshop as their schedule allows.
StageWorks
StageWorks
classes are devoted to theatre and dance, and
may follow a short-termed workshop format or
weekly sessions. Students and adults learn
various forms of dance, choreography, acting,
and technical aspects of the theatre arts.
