Arts Place is presenting a
unique conference celebrating and exploring
creative approaches to nurturing the arts in
rural and small communities of 25,000 and less.
Leaders from the arts, economic development,
local government, and tourism will gather to
share success stories on how they have
revitalized their communities through the arts.

Throughout the two-day
conference, sessions will look at communities
that have achieved success in creating
year-round programming, vibrant arts
centers and similar facilities, and
positive environments for artists to work and
live.
Lodging accommodations are provided by the
Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 100 Holiday
Drive, Portland,
Indiana. A special group rate is available
for conference attendees if booked before April
