Arts in the Parks stands at the forefront of summer arts programs nationwide. From its modest beginnings in 1977, Arts in the Parks has grown to include 16 communities in Jay, Blackford and Adams in Indiana, and Mercer and Auglaize counties in Ohio.

This year Arts in the Parks is pleased to welcome its newest location - Rockford, Ohio.

This unique program provides art instruction to hundreds of students annually by literally taking the arts to them. Extraordinary artists from around the country share the arts with students of all ages. Parents are welcome to volunteer and attend any class with their children.

All disciplines are covered including the visual arts, dance, theatre, and music.  Community collaboration and support has allowed this program to grow.  The 2011 program includes these popular activities: Arts in the Parks Goes to Camp, Family Times, and Musical Petting Zoo.
